We left from Destin and through the middle of absolute nowhere... and then landed in Bainbridge... which was also nowhere. We drove to an old WWII aircraft hanger, where small planes took off in a huge field. I have no idea who would have been inside those planes because, well, we were in the middle of absolute nowhere. Inside this old hanger there was a SIP company. Jeff went inside. The kids and I attempted to entertain ourselves... for almost three hours. Needless to say, it was not the high-point of the trip. From there, we drove through much more nothingness. We made it to Savannah, finally. We hit River Street, did a
walking ghost tour (which Olive slept through in the wagon), and swam
in the hotel pool. We also did a lot of antique shopping, and the girls
swore they found a magic wardrobe that could probably take them
straight to Narnia.
