The never-ending wood piles are getting to me.  It's like that huge plate of spaghetti that you've been eating and eating but it looks like you haven't touched it.

Door progress - The glass is removed and Randy is sanding them down.  They'll be making a wood panel out of the heart pine frame these were in.  (Glass doors wouldn't work where we need these to go.)

Spring 2019 Kidding Season

Oh my word.  Kidding season is always crazy around here!  There were nights that both Ivey and I were out in the barn until after midnight.  It was COLD, rainy, we had a pitiful runt, two difficult labors, and ended up with 15 kids... 10 of which are BUCKS!

 

Happy 9th Birthday, Miss Olive!

It took a full month after her actual birthday, but we finally had her "friend" party!  Ivey and I took Olive to see a movie and... SURPRISE!  It's your birthday party!

Piecing together our hodge-podge of salvaged windows to make the sun porch.  Jeff has some of them on wood rails so they open.  (It took a little work laying out what sizes would work and how to arrange them, but we ended up paying only $80 for ALL these used windows!)
