It has been a long while since the gypsy wagon has gotten any love. Why? Because work can only be done on it a) when the scraps are available and b) when NO work can be done on the actual house. Jeff and Randy have been busting tail to get all of the trees cut down, dragged to the sawmill, milled into beams, and transported to our army tent, so that they could finally move the sawmill out of our gracious friends' yard. After 18 months of solid cutting- pretty much every weekend and every day off possibly spared- they are wrapping things up. Now, the joint-work really kicks into gear. This makes me VERY happy since, unlike the milling, this can be done right here in the yard. That means we all get to see Jeff a lot more often, even if he is working! Last weekend, Jeff, Randy, and the boys took the first completed bent over to the property, where it will be stored in our other army tent (who doesn't need three 20'x32' tents?) until ready to be erected.

| In case anyone was wondering how we move these beams, we move them like Egyptians. |
Back to the little side-project of ours...
