Recent Olive-isms

 (All three of my boys are leaving tomorrow for an Orlando adventure. My girls are headed to the mountains with Jeff's parents...)

Me: "Girls, we need to pack up, you guys are going to be leaving tomorrow!"

Olive: "Not leaving like moving out and living on our own yet, though."

Me: "Let's get in the car. We're gonna go meet Mim."

Olive: "I've already met her before."

The girls just threw money in a wishing well.

Ivey wished for "a pegasi and more money."

Olive: "Healthy kids and a good husband."

Olive: "What is Pin The Tail on the Pony?"

Me: "It's actually Pin the Tail on the Donkey. It's a game where you put on a blindfold and sometimes you spin around and then you take a little pin with a picture of a donkey tail and you walk to a picture of a donkey on the wall and try to pin it in the right place."

Olive: (long pause) "Sounds dangerous."

Olive makes lists. This particular list is for a baby doll birthday party.

"Mommy, I need you to bring all the things to the party."

"What do you need?"

"A chocolate milk fountain."

Ivey: "I needed this Elsa dress!"

Olive (said with sass): "Ivey. You don't need that dress. You want that dress. Got it? You need to learn whatcha want and whatcha need."
