Wedding Weekend

Well, my brother is officially married!

The weekend was a crazy one, but it all came together and we had a great time. I had explained to Asa and Addison the importance of their job as ring bearers, and the importance of their happy little faces for pictures... and boy did they deliver. I was, and am, so proud of them. We dropped them off with the men for pictures and it was reported that they acted like little soldiers. During the ceremony, they stood there and acted like little men. I hope that I let them know how big of a deal it was to us and how extremely proud we are to have them as our children.

Hal gave the boys monogrammed cuff links, to match those that the groomsmen were wearing. The boys were thrilled. They felt so big and important, and they wore them proudly! We are so thrilled for Hal and Jen... and are so happy to have her as a sister and aunt!

At the reception, my Addison was a dancing machine. He danced for 3 hours straight. He danced like it was his job! On more than one occasion, he had an entire crowd around him cheering him on. At one point, Hal jumped in two and they both danced like crazy. It was awesome! I wish we had it on video, but hopefully I will catch him in action again at some point. He danced with more women than anyone else there! Asa, my shy little man, asked one of the bridesmaids to dance with him! Looks like they may not take after their daddy, after all!
