Graded!

Tonight, we left to drop the boys off at church for IMPACT and take the girls down to the property to see the progress.  When Olive heard where we were going, she ran out the back door.  I watched out the kitchen window as she climbed into the gypsy wagon... and then watched her climb back out with her little pink toolbox in her hands.  She carried it to the car, and made sure to have it with her at the property, eager to "build our house".

People ask us all the time if we have "started" building our house yet.  They want to know if we have broken ground.  Now, instead of trying to explain the years of back-breaking, all-encompassing labor, my answer can be simply "YES!".  Does this mean that we will now have a team of people erecting our house in a typical fashion?  No, it does not.  But, we are a big step closer to living here.... and I have a much better picture of how things will lay out!

Now, get get that foundation poured!
