Just Pretending

Me:  "Olive, put your britches back on."
Olive:  "Naaaaah.  I'm pretending I'm wearing britches."

Olive:  "Mommy, can I pretend that this (Addison's) flashlight is mine?"

Me:  "Olive, you need to eat your beans."
Olive:  "But, I'm pretending I ate them."

Me:  "Olive, you don't need that bapi.  You can only have it for nap."
Olive:  "Well, I'm pretending that I'm napping."
