So, June was spent measuring, cutting, lifting, and installing all that beautiful old heart pine that came to us from the old Langdale Mill in Alabama via the Bush brothers at the Henry Hudson Co. It looks amazing, and it is solid as heck. This house is looking more and more like a house!

June was spent milking and feeding, teaching summer classes, and filling the freezer with goat cheese. I love summer. The kids and I are free from classes... and even though construction always picks up each summer, it's a good kind of busy. It's physical exhaustion... which I think is therapeutic in a way. There is a time for planning and teaching and typing... and this is not that time.
